Apalachin Library
Friends of the library are a group of people who can help the library in a variety of ways.

1. They are advocate for the library. They can provide the library with give away items such as pens, magnets, and more that spread information about the library through the community.

2. Another advocacy effort involves providing the library with postcards and other promotional materials for the library's requests for funding.

3. They can be fundraisers. They can run fundraisers the proceeds from which benefit the library by funding special projects or advocacy efforts.

Our Friends meet every other month on the third Monday at 6:30 pm. We have a board comprised of a President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer.
We would love to have you join us! For more information, just call the library (625-3333). This is on hold until further notice.
The Book Barn
The Book Barn is our main fundraiser.
Many people in our community donate used books to our library. Volunteers sort the books, select books to be sold, and fill the shelves in the book barn.

A bag of books can be purchased for $5. The library supplies the bags and ONLY our bags can be used.
Individual book prices are:
$1- hard covers
$ .50- paperbacks
$ .25- children and youth books.

If you would like to be a book barn volunteer, please call the library (625-3333) and let us know.
