Storytime: Tuesdays and Thursdays | 10:30am 

Join Miss Wendy for read alouds, singing, playing, dancing, and crafts! Tuesday and Thursday each week are the same theme. Please note: there will be no Storytime from June 25-July 4 (we will resume July 9).

 

Mahjong: Mondays | 2pm-4pm

Don’t know how to play this tile-based game yet? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you! No registration is necessary, and all are welcome!

 

Tech Tuesdays with Tina: Tuesdays | 11:30am-1:30pm

Drop by for some one-on-one help on the computer and other devices.

 

Zen before Zzzzs: Tuesdays | 6:30pm

Grab your yoga mat and join yoga instructor Sheehan Shotwell for an inspiring yoga practice each week. No registration is necessary, and all are welcome!

 

Senior Sampler – Bingo, Games, and Lunch: Friday, July 5 | 11am-1pm

Join us on the first Friday of each month for a sample of programs, and help us determine which programs are popular enough to put in place permanently! And save the dates for the next two: Friday, August 2 – we’ll screen a classic movie, and Friday, September 6 – we’ll have an art class! Registration is required.

 

Family Night featuring Dirtmeister: Thursday, July 11 | 7pm

Amazing adventures in science using “dirt cheap” materials to recreate some of the greatest discoveries in history! No registration is necessary, and all are welcome!

 

Afternoon Book Club: Thursday, July 18 | 1pm

My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier  

Place a hold for this book in the catalog or find it on Libby as an eBook or audiobook. The August book will be One by One by Ruth Ware. No registration is necessary, and all are welcome! Please note the Evening Book Club will not meet in July. Their August book will be The Bookshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson.

 

Family Night featuring Dinosaur Adventure Show: Thursday, July 18 | 7pm

Become a paleontologist and dig up a real Triceratops dinosaur bone! No registration is necessary, and all are welcome!

Ollie and Nola Show! Saturday, July 20 | 10:30am-12pm

Certified therapy dogs Ollie and Nola are back for another Saturday storytime! There will be dog-related stories, a craft, yummy snacks, and opportunities to read to the dogs after the program. No registration is necessary, and all are welcome!

 

Tioga Arts Council Art Class – Clay Animal Plaques: Thursday, July 23 | 1pm-3pm

Ages 8-12. Registration is required.

 

Family Night featuring REPCO Wildlife Encounters with Reptiles: Thursday, July 25 | 7pm

Meet reptiles of all kinds! No registration is necessary, and all are welcome!

American Girl Salon School: Saturday, July 27 | 11am-1pm

Do you want to learn how to braid your American Girl doll’s hair to get her ready for the American Girl Program? Join Miss Emma and learn how to Dutch braid! Registration is required, and all participants must be at least 8 years old.

 

American Girl Doll Program: Monday, July 29 | 1pm-3pm

Meet Lila, this year’s American Girl Doll! Lila loves gymnastics and horseback riding. Join us for fun activities including a craft and snacks! Registration is required, and all participants must be at least 8 years old.
