I understand there are positive & negative characteristics in all circumstances, people and experiences. I choose to look for the positive in everyone & everything. When I find something about me or my life that I don't like, I look for a way to change it. I do what it takes to get busy and make myself and my life better. When something negative happens to me, I look for a way to turn it to my benefit.

I know I was born with potential. It is up to me to uncover my talents & abilities. I do this by learning new things and participating in worthy activities.

I know how to make statements to myself that create good habits. I know how to get rid of bad habits.

I know every choice I make produces a result that reflects my choice. I make choices that produce the results I want. Wise choices give me personal power.

I know how important it is to write my goals. I make sure I do at least one thing each day toward achieving each goal.

I act as though I already am the person I want to become.

I never give up. If I miss my goal, I just try again. I look for help to make my efforts more successful.
